On this Wedding Wednesday we're looking back at one of our favorite Big Apple Florist weddings from last month. Ashley and Brian were such a fun couple to work with and the photography by Sean Gallery Photography really captured the special day! This stunning wedding at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City was truly one of a kind with unique and rustic accents everywhere. From the gorgeous ceremony decor to the beautiful bride's bouquet - every aspect of this wedding was full of texture and rustic elegance. Ceremony The ceremony was all about lighting with elegant pillar candles and twinkling lights. Birch pillars, succulents and bundles of greenery along the aisle added a rustic touch to venue. This Long Island City wedding venue was the perfect place to showcase this romantic wedding!
Bouquet This bridal bouquet is one of our favorites this year! Green Thistle, Kale, Artichokes, Japanese Scabiosa, Succulents and berries with a touch of seeded eucalyptus for an accent. This vast mix of flower varietals made this bridal bouquet eclectic, fun and definitely one of a kind. The elegant satin ribbon was the perfect addition to give this bouquet an urban, New York touch.
Favors A mixture of succulent varieties were used as place card holders with crisp white pebbles and chic glass containers. There were so many fun touches at this wedding like the custom chalkboards featured in the backdrop of this photo. These succulents were the perfect favor to send home with guests and make a nice addition to a desk or small space after the wedding!
