Snow It won't be long before we'll all be there with snow Snow I want to wash my hands, my face and hair with snow Snow I long to clear a path and lift a spade of snow Snow Oh, to see a great big man entirelyWhy on earth am I singing songs from “White Christmas” in early September? Because I’m a florist, that’s why! Oddly enough, here at Big Apple we began preparing for the holidays in July, like industrious little squirrels. We spent the summer shopping for gorgeous wreaths, trees, ornaments and bows to add festive sparkle to homes and offices when we offer holiday decorating services come Christmastime. In August, we even had a small dress-rehearsal: a client requested decorating services for a themed event entitled “Tech Wonderland.” We happily hauled the artificial Christmas trees and menorahs out of storage, sprinkled fake snow liberally all over the room, and created beautiful floral table centerpieces for the event (see pictures below).
