Candullo Wedding at Bridgewater’s NYC

bridgewaters-south-street-seaport-wedding1We are happy to report that the Kim Candullo Bridgewater’s wedding was a complete floral success.  We [the bride and groom] have not stopped talking about how many of our guests kept commenting on the extraordinary flower arrangements. From the creation of wedding floral bouquets, floral table centerpieces and a custom alter, to the fine job your crew of 5 workers did setting up the day of our wedding, we were truly blessed with the “best New York City florist shop” says groom Michael Candullo. candullo-wedding-bridgewaters-nycGuests were ushered into the ceremony area at Bridgewater’s NYC which was transformed from a large industrial open space to a very warm and beautiful ceremony room.  The standard wood wall panels provided by facilities were decorated with sheer white fabrics.  A truly stunning alter of flowers was built in the front of the room with white orchids draping down from the custom 3 pillar structure that Abu, our Creative Director and his crew designed and built. wedding-floral-table-centerpieces The Bridgewater’s NYC cocktail room was made more festive with Abu’s suggestion of Palm Trees that were placed in each corner of the room.  Smaller wedding floral table centerpieces were created especially for cocktail hour.  They were a subtle way to add a personal touch to this room. Guests were then lead into main reception room with breathtaking views of the Brooklyn Bridge.  The main room was decorated with both high and low wedding floral table centerpieces to follow the flow of this room which had both high and low ceiling areas. The high floral table centerpieces include a beautiful egg shaped vase wedding-floral-bouquetswith a combination of white hydrangea, deep purple calla lilies, bright green cymbidium orchids, cream and jade colored roses and curled ti leaves which are a very dark green leaf with highlights of hot pink.  These flowers were an excellent selection to help give the bride Mary Kim the color scheme she wanted of deep purples, greens and whites.   Smaller wedding floral table centerpieces were also used to balance the Bridgewater’s NYC room.  They included similar flowers just in low and compact cubed vases. bridgewaters-nyc-wedding “Guests to this day are still raving about how our wedding flowers were the nicest wedding flowers they had ever seen” said bride Mary Kim.  “Everyone wanted to know who the florist was.  I’m so happy that Michael and I chose to work with Big Apple Florist on our very important day.  The right wedding flowers and working with the right florist made our Bridgewater’s South Street Seaport wedding day so very special. Thank you Big Apple Florist for making our day memorable for us and our guests, you’re work is the best!”
